Located in the center of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Hakone Town is a tourist and hot spring resort with easy access from central Tokyo.

The natural scenery is beautiful from season to season, and there are many events and festivals to enjoy throughout the year, including art galleries, museums, and other leisure facilities, as well as the Hakone Ekiden (relay race) held at New Year's. The area also offers a wide range of recreational activities, including the Hakone International Festival.

The rows of cherry trees in spring, fireflies and hydrangeas in the rainy season, fireworks and Daimonji burning in summer, autumn leaves and Susuki fields in fall, and illumination and starry skies in winter are all wonderful and attract tourists from around the world.
